About Course

Learn with Juno the owl that fractions which look different can be worth exactly the same. Children use fraction walls and number lines to spot equivalent fractions, then learn to make, check and simplify them by multiplying or dividing. It follows the national curriculum for England: equivalent fractions with small denominators (Year 3), families of equivalent fractions (Year 4) and equivalent tenths and hundredths (Year 5).

Tutwoo is independent and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Department for Education or any other organisation. This course follows the national curriculum for England; your child’s school may teach these ideas in a different order.
