Good to know
- Key Stage 2 covers Years 3 to 6, when most children are aged 7 to 11.
- In Year 4, children in England take the multiplication tables check, an on-screen check of times tables up to 12 × 12.
- In Year 6, children take national curriculum tests (often called SATs) in English reading, English grammar, punctuation and spelling, and maths, usually in May.
