About Course

Apostrophes have two jobs: showing where letters are missing and showing that something belongs to someone. This course recaps contractions and singular possession, then teaches plural possession (a Year 4 objective) and the tricky its/it’s mix-up.

Tutwoo Kids is an independent learning service. This course is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department for Education, Ofqual or any exam board, and Tutwoo Kids certificates are not qualifications. Content was checked against the national curriculum for England in October 2026.

What Will You Learn?
