About Course

A hands-on maths course for a grown-up and child (ages 4–5) to share. With fingers, dice, mirrors and snacks, your child discovers doubles to 10, shares things out fairly and spots that some numbers split into two equal groups and some don’t.

Tutwoo Kids is an independent learning provider. This course is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department for Education (DfE), Ofqual or any exam board. The certificate of completion celebrates your child’s learning; it is not a qualification.

What Will You Learn?

  • Make and recognise doubles to 10 with fingers, dice and objects
  • Share a small number of things fairly between two or more people
  • Notice which numbers make two equal groups (even) and which have one left over (odd)
  • Grown-ups learn simple language and games that schools use in Reception
