About Course

A GCSE physics course for Physics and Combined Science students on forces and motion: resultant forces, Newton’s first, second and third laws, inertia, weight, acceleration calculations, stopping distances and an introduction to momentum – with worked examples and the mistakes that cost marks.

Tutwoo Kids is an independent learning provider. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department for Education, Ofqual or any exam board. Our certificates celebrate completing a course; they are not qualifications.

What Will You Learn?

  • Apply Newton's first law to stationary objects and objects at constant velocity Use F = ma and a = Δv ÷ t in calculations Identify Newton's third law force pairs correctly Explain stopping distances and the factors that affect them, and calculate momentum
