Meet the Artist: L.S. Lowry and His Busy Town Scenes

Discover L.S. Lowry, the artist who painted busy streets, factories and crowds of thin “matchstick” people in the north-west of England. Children aged 5–7 learn about his life, look closely at his style, find out how he used just five colours, and create their own Lowry-style town picture.
