Negative Numbers: Below Zero and Across Zero

What is colder than 0 °C? Which floor is below the ground floor? Children learn to count backwards through zero, place and order negative numbers on number lines and thermometers, and calculate the difference between temperatures across zero – covering the Year 4, 5 and 6 objectives.
