About Course

Read and spell words with the long vowel sounds ‘ai’ (rain), ‘ee’ (tree) and ‘igh’ (night) with Juno the owl. Children learn what digraphs and trigraphs are, practise sounding out and blending, and meet a few other spellings of the same sounds. Matches the Year 1 phonics and spelling content of the national curriculum for England.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider and is not affiliated with the Department for Education. Your child’s school will use its own phonics programme, so the names and order of sounds may differ slightly.
